Sometimes swiping or texting on tinder feels if you were the main character of the movie “I am Legend (2007)” with Will Smith. Except you don’t feel hero at all. You feel like you’re a ghost.
It feels like no one replying to you, like you’re receiving no likes nor matches, it can even feel that you’re swiping on the people you had already made the choice.
It is a real practice that many companies employ for good or questionable reasons. It can be really frustrating to not know that as a consumer, especially if you’re a paying consumer.
That’s why we developed an attempt to detect when you are shadow banned. This is one of the features specifically designed for Tinder chats.
When you open any of your chats, you may see the following button appear, if we have detected that your accounts fits the criteria for a shadow ban.
If you are not shadow banned, you will not see a notification. Neither is a guarantee that you are, or you are not. This is advisory only.
To receive help on how you could restore your account into a functional state, click the button and a modal will open up with the instructions and your details for an easy access.
To sustain the development of this Chrome Extension, the guide on how to recover from a shadowban is limited to paying supporters. Thank you for your understanding! 🙏
